Joy, a Heritage gait certified mare, came to Moondance Farm with her mother as a weanling.  Daughter of Society's Dan Allen (Billy Taylor's Heritage stallion who passed away November 2013) and Royal's Merry Dee, Joy has inherited all of the best qualities of her outstanding parents not the least of which is her lovely conformation. After months of gentle, consistent training, she is showing the talent we had anticipated. Joy has learned the self collection that keeps her hind end beneath her for balance and efficiency of gait. She is in the process of learning flying lead changes while in a lovely, relaxed canter.
